Hello, my name is Anacristina Forestier García de Quevedo, I am 23 years old, I am married to an amazing man named Enmanuel Cruz Torres and we live in South Carolina. I am from Puerto Rico, one of the best and most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. Our Sherman president, Edwin Cordero is from Puerto Rico. I am here to get my doctorate in chiropractic from our Sherman College. First, I want you to know me more about previous life and why I am following this career. I started to know more about taking your body when I was 14, because that’s when I started playing volleyball in my school. When I went to Sherman the last year, it was when I saw and understood why people do not care about their health, it is because they are not educated properly.
Don’t get me wrong, but in our present, for many people they don’t understand how the body has the ability to heal itself, it’s fascinating and beautiful at the same time. And this is when we get to why I am doing this, why I am pursuing this incredible race. The first reason is that I will be the first chiropractic in my family, I want to be a model for my cousins and children in the future. The second reason is that I want to help my father and grandfather with their back problems. This would be a natural way to help him. Since his problem forces him to take many medications and this affects his kidney in the long term. I know I can do that possible and when they finish, I want them to live their best. Another reason is that I want to help people with disabilities to have a better quality of life. And last but not least, I want to challenge myself, this is a difficult race and I want to know how much I can take, I want to know where my limits are. And there is more, but for me those are the main reasons why I am doing this, it is to change the world, do something in this society that has been lied to and not educated.
I know it is not easy to change, start trying new things in life, but I know it will be worth it. We can change and help many people if we can. My associates and I will do the best for each of you. Thank you for taking the time to read this, we are now a family, and when you visited my future, it will be like your home.
